"Star" was a very nice racer in his time, winning 27 times. Now he is making an excellent sire and show horse. He is currently trained for: Hunters, Eventing, Cross Country, Dressage, Barrel Racing, Halter, Cutting, Pole Bending, Reining, Trail, &Western & English Pleasure. He was trained for all these events to find out where his niche lay, he seems to do the best in Hunters, Western Pleasure, Eventing, & Halter & with a little work could do quite nicely in Reining or Cross Country. As a sire he has been doing very well with two winners of racing age <a href= www.geocities.com/whisperwoodacres2003/maid.html>Starstruck Maiden</a> who has placed in several GI's already and is to be entered in the Bluegrass Juvy & has never placed below third. His other foal of racing age, <a href= www.geocities.com/whisperwoodacres2003/star.html>A Diffrent Star</a> is doing extremely well on Turf, never having placed below second. He has excellent manners for a stallion, is amazingly laid back, and could definately be handled by an intermediate rider easily, not for beginners though, as he IS a stallion. Star loads, clips & bathes well. He does not like pigs though, as we found out on a trail ride one day, I dont know what it is about them but he wont get near them. He has no problems with vets or farriers though."

Reason for selling: I have two stallions in the immediate future with larger/better race records(Lucayen's National Secret & Skippin Miller Time) plus two more coming up(they are 3 y/os now[War Wishes & Favorite Whiskey]) so I dont have a lot of space for him.
