I think this board is really convenient, since we're all able to learn a bit more about each other. Let's see, in real life I'm 14 years old and 5'10". I own a 16.1hh Dutch Warmblood named Kazan, and we compete in equitation and hunters. I live in good ol' Arizona, where it's absolutely miserable. Lol, there seems to be a lot of Arizonans here, huh?

welp, kazan, i may be the odd one out then...i'm not from arizona...i'm not even from the west. i'm a hoosier through and through which makes me from that lovely state of indiana. i agree, this board is freaking convenient and completely awesome. what kinds of shows do you compete in? i kind of gave up on competing when I had a run in with the 4-H leaders at an area show some years back. in my western pleasure class, the judge complimented me on my form and ability and told me i should have placed first, but my horse's nose was too far off the ground so he placed me last. same thing in my hunter under saddle class. the judge told me i should have earned first, but placed me last for the horse's head position. it's quite jankey.

Lol, really? The judge actually told you why you didn't place in the top? Wow; our judges never do that. I wish they did, though. I mainly compete in A-rated shows, but I'll go to a 'B' or 'C' every now and again if I feel I need some practice. Plus, it's always just fun to go and see how well you do against less experienced riders. Oh, and thanks Shannon! ;D
