Well, I guess I should introduce my self. Yes? I'm fourteen years old - turning fifteen next month, in the 9th grade of Parkland High School. I'm male - shockshock, and 6'1. I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, and still live here. I've been riding for close to ten years, I started when I was five at a facility known as Ecclesfield Arabians. I rode their Arabian Gelding who they called "Rocky The Wild Goose." A bit after I moved to Persons Stables, an allbreed stable that thought riding in a isle way was sufficient enough. Again, I moved, now to a sister stable of Ecclesfield, called Windkist Manor. "WK" was mostly a breeding farm of Straight Egyptian, Sheykh Obeyd, Al Khamsa Arabians. Some of their horses included (for your SE buffs) Halim El Mansour - sired by *Ansata Ibn Halima out of RDM Maar Hala making him a fullbrother to International Sire El Halimaar. There was also MFA Bint Maar Ree - a direct daughter of El Hilal and the great broodmare Maar Ree, Akira Zarif - a white grey mare considered one of the most beautiful daughters of Fakher El Din (a son of Moniet El Nefous). Others were El Mon Moniet (double Tuhotmos son) and WK Fabo's Finale (last son of Fabo). lol..got a little bit long winded there, eh? Anyway, after finding out that the trainer there was moving, we relocated once again, now to Squaw Mountain Ranch. I was there for about three years, where I rode the POA pony Chief, the Appaloosa mare Annie, and the 16+HH AQHA gelding Cody. While there I leased a fat, stubborn ol' gelding with a daughter of one of my mom's friends. He went by "Red," stood around 15.2HH and was of mostly Appaloosa breeding but was without spots. I rode him western mostly - although I favored English. The two of us never got the chance to show, but he was quite the experience. Again I moved barns, this time across the road to Rocking Horse Stables. I stayed here for a good amount of time - about four years. This is where I got most of my experience. I trained Hunter/Jumper which is what I had been wanting to do. I leased an Oldenburg mare named Genesis. She was sired by the Show Jumper known as Grand Slam, and bred by the big name WB facility Iron Springs Farm in Pennsylvania. She stood around 15.3HH, was pudgy, but she could really jump if she wanted to (4'6). I showed her in a few local shows, we faired well with a few firsts here and there. I ended my lease on here in 2003, and I also changed barns again. This time I moved to North Star Farms with Lucy Houle, a young trainer who had just moved from California. I was training Hunters with her as well, usually helping to bring back her 17HH warmblood gelding named Maxx (hence my name) back to soundness. Just around the peak of his health, I decided to take a break from riding. For a few months I went without riding, and took up running track. I still run track but have also returned to riding and am currently looking for a horse to purchase and show this year through Hunters or Jumpers. Wow..just realized how much I wrote. I guess I'll stop here..*cough*
